An outstanding athlete in both skiing and tennis while an undergraduate, Kathy Kluver Manasse was the top ranked skier in the East by the United States Eastern Amateur Ski Association as a freshman at St. Lawrence.

She won the Louise Orvis Trophy Race, was second in the Stowe Cup and was outstanding in a number of major Eastern meets during her SLU career in addition to skiing as a member of the women’s ski team on the EISA collegiate circuit.

As a member of the Alumni Council following graduation, she helped spearhead the drive for recognition and support of women’s intercollegiate athletics at SLU.
