A member of the select group of women’s basketball players to score 1000 or more career points, Donna Andrews established the Saint career scoring recor with 1116 total points at the time of her graduation.
A two-year captain and two-year Most Valuable Player, she helped St. Lawrence to its first ever New York State tournament berth by averaging 10 points per game as a freshman. She helped the team to a tourney berth in her sophomore season and completed her career by averaging a record 19.2 points per game as a senior. She averaged 15.7 points per game in 71 career games and was also one of the team’s top rebounders.
Now an educator, Donna spent a season as Saint assistant coach following her graduation before pursuing graduate studies, earning her doctorate in education at Ohio State University.
