The captain and Most Valuable Player on the tennis team and a two-time qualifier in collegiate national alpine ski competition, Cristina Lussi helped St. Lawrence teams to prominence in three varsity seasons.

Cris finished in the top 20 in the AIAW alpine nationals in 1981 and in the top 15 in the 1984 NCAA alpine championships. She was 1982 New York State champion in alpine skiing and finished second in the Swiss University alpine championships while studying in Europe as a junior.

She won the 1980 Coaches Award in tennis in addition to the 1983 MVP award and was unbeaten against New York State Division III competition as a senior.
