The starting center for the 1969 football team which posted St. Lawrence’s best record in 18 years and a standout in lacrosse as well, Craig Battle joins his teammates Bill Chadwick and John Cook as inductees in the St. Lawrence Athletic Hall of Fame.

Craig was a three-year starter at center and was first-team All Conference and Most Valuable Player on the 7-1 Lambert Cup runner-up team. He was first team all conference center in 1968 and second team in 1967. In lacrosse, he was 1970 captain and named to the All Northern New York State team on defense in 1970 and was an honorable mention All America defender in 1969.

Now an investment banker, he is president of the Tucker Capital Corporation.
