St. Lawrence University Athletics

A participant in every sport available for women and an outstanding student during her undergraduate years, Catherine Common Johnson played field hockey, baseball, soccer, speedball, tennis and was a participant in the campus-wide canoe regatta.

An accomplished artist, she has maintained her interest in outdoor recreation through serving on the Thousand Islands State Parks Commission. She provided for the completion of the Minna Anthony Common nature center on Wellesley Island and has served on the White House Commission on Children and Youth.
