The man who put St. Lawrence on hockey's intercollegiate map, Brian McFarlane is the all time leading scorer in SLU hockey history and still holds five hockey scoring records.

An All America center in 1951-52, he led three teams to NCAA tournaments and the teams he played on won 64 games and lost only 19.

An outstanding student, Brian was also a campus leader, actor and radio broadcaster. Following graduation he authored several books on the National Hockey League and was the host for "Hockey Night in Canada" on CBC-TV
